Group condition

Hi thr,

I have a condition type (which determines the base price and is a group condition) and in an order i have three line items and this base price for all the materials is picked from different accesses. Is it possible that the price is picked from different accesses and still have the price detemined for the summed up qty of the sales order i,e price should be picked based on the scales.

Hi plese see this it may be help full foor you....

Group Conditions

You want some conditions to be used as the basis for determining scale values from several items.

You have assigned materials to a material pricing group. You want a quantity-based discount to be assigned to these materials. You want the quantity scale to be read cumulatively with the cumulated quantity of all materials in the sales order that are assigned to this material pricing group:

Condition record with reference to a material pricing group:

From 1 KG

- 2,-USD / KG

From 100 KG

- 4,-USD / KG

From 500 KG

- 6,-USD / KG

Pricing in the order for two materials from the material pricing group:

Item 10

Material 1

60 KG

- 20,- USD discount

Item 20

Material 2

70 KG

- 20,- USD discount

Prerequisites

You must mark the condition type as a group condition in Customizing

If you want the system to carry out cumulation across all items, but to read a separate condition record with this cumulated quantity for each item, you must make the following additional entries for the condition type:

Quantity unit for cumulation

Group key number

Hi,

For the group condition type, even though there are multiple access... base value will be determined for each material based on the condition record (scale value) which is applicable to it.

Suppose..We have maintained three access in the group condition type and maitaned scales in the respectve condition records....then base value/price will be picked up based on the condition record validity to the respective item.

Revert me back if you need more info.

Thanks Satya. However, i will try and explain my problem clearly. I have three line items 1, 2 and 3 and for all the three the base price is picked from condition record ZP00 but from different accesses of ZP00. The summed up qty is 20.

For line item 1 SO type/ Material

For line item 2 SO type/ Material/ Customer

For line item 3 SO type/ Material/ Customer/ Product hierarchy

and we have scales maintained for all. Still the system picks up the price which is applicable for 20 for each line item?

Hi Swetha,

It is working as per standard functionality.....Group condition will be applicale to all materials( their qty's) for which condition record has been picked up (even though from diff acccess but condition type is same rt)...I think,If you want to restrict/customize the requirement you can use the group cond. routine in the condition type definition....

Hello Satya,

It isn't working that way. If for different materials in the same order, the condition value is picked from different access, then the cumulative qty of the SO will not be considered to determine the condition value i,e group condition will not work.

Hi Swetha,

I think access's which are assigned to the condition type (group), should have atlease one field as group. For example: material group/customer group etc.... please check the access's whether it conatins (atleast one) group field or not. And based on this the condition base value (e.g.weight) is then calculated as the sum of the individual items within one group.
