IN this case what you can do is:

If you want to run payroll from 2009

    1. Maintain Hiring date as Joining date in Hiring action and Put those employees in Payroll area 99 (with config no run for this payroll area)[ for employees who joined before 2009)

    2. Do org reassignment for those employees and put them on correct payroll area with start date as 2009.

    3. For employees joiing after 2009 only hiring action will be there with correct payroll area

    HI,

The question is not very clear. But i am assuming there are 2 cases .

1.If your client wants to run payroll for all emoployees from 2009 April you can go for mid year go live .But for this you have to gather the exact results to upload .

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/ea/46f1410ef54632be5c63f6a00756f2/frameset.htm

2.If from current month you can follow same method for uploading data as arachana has said it holds good for both the cases.

When ever we implement payroll we should take details properly so that client requirement is exactly mapped.

    Cheers

    Anu
