Number Range for Warranty Product

Dear Guru's

could anybody tell me the for Creating the new Number Range for Warrany Product after that where i need to Assigned it. Tell me the Path.

currently i am working on CRM 2007.

    Hi,

    You can define the number range to the product type Warranty in the following path of IMG activity:

    IMG -> Customer Relationship Management -> Master data -> Products -> Settings for Product Type -> Number Assignment -> Define number Ranges for Warranties.

    However, one has to specify the Number assignment settings under the path:

    IMG -> Cross Application Components -> SAP Product -> Settings for Product Type -> Number Assignment -> Specify Number Assignment Settings

    Here one can specify that Warranties can have alphanumeric IDs.
