block faulty stock in SAP

Hi All,

How to block faulty stock in SAP? We don't use MRP.

Pls advise.

hello,

You can post this stock directly to the quality inspection from MIRO and while making the GR document use the stock type as QI...

If the stock comes as faulty, then you transfer this stock to the blocked stock and send back the material to the vendor or scrap it....

For existing faulty stock, can we use mvt type 322 to transfer from unrestricted stock to QI? Then what is the movement type for transfer QI to unrestricted stock?

hi,

Did you make the GR for it??

Movement types are :

101- general GR for PO

QI to Blocked: 350

Blk to QI: 349

QI to Un: 321

Un to QI: 322

So, If GR is not made yet, then directly post the stock to QI...and if made and stock in under UN stock, then move it to QI via 322, test it, if faulty, then again move it to blocked stock via 350...

hi,

initially u can update stock through 101 and 103 movements .where by 101 mvt both account and material documents shall be created. where in 103 mvt only material doc created ,u can reject at this stage .
