Hi Experts,

I am using BO 4.1 SP7 patch 3 and at the backend is SAP BW 7.4. Well there is one Webi document where I have to add another bex query. I created another OLAP Connection and called that connection in Webi. In the second bex query I am adding one new variable to the report. I am not getting the expected answer after adding up . But I created another report in same webi document. where I consider the dimensions and measures needed for calculation . In the second report I am getting exact value after some calculation , but in report 1 I am getting wrong answer. I have checked the filters and all, still the answers are different.

please help me with this.

Thanks.

Hi,

Your if condition should give you right Summation of Frieght amount. Why Inlist and Where clause though?.

Thanks,

Jothi

Hi,

Did you merge the 2nd BEx query with 1st BEx query in WebI?. or you are going to display 2nd BEx query result set in different table or tab?.

Thanks,

Jothi

Hi Jyothirmayee,

I am using OLAP connection for the same and I am merging the common dimensions on report level. My requirement is to bring the total sum of FREIGHT(taking all industry) and display to one industry called "Transporters". So when I am applying the following formula I get the wrong value : =If([Industry]="Transporters";Sum([Frieght Amount FTM])Where([Industry] InList("Caps & Sleeves";"Label";"Market Bottles";"Misc PM";"Misc RM";"Mono Carton";"New Bottles";"Outer Carton";"Pet Bottles";"Transporters")) ;0)

I am just showing the mentioned industry on report in short i am filtering out the industry.

Thanks .
