search help buttton for date

Hi All,

hope are all are doing fine!!!

this reg. search help button( F4 button )...

In a screen painter .., am able to get F4 help for the date field,,,BUT am not able to get the search help button( match code button) which resembles the F4 help ,,i have tried even aftere using vbak-erdat( for example).

i mean even after declaring the screen field like vbak-erdat ,,but even then am unable to get the search help button..

PLs suggest the alternatives in fixing this...

HI

Double click your screen field in the screen painter. Enter Search Help as CALENDAR and if required take DAT as format

try this search help as well SH_DATE_FOR_CSEQUENCE

This would serve your purpose.
