Hi All,
The PO created from me21n and waiting for release should get releasedusing the Outlook email only. Is it possble to release a PO from the email received in your Outllook ?
Please note that we are not going to log in in the SAP R/3 system.
Some documentation on SAP says this is possible but it require some SAP components to be installed and additional coding in Visual Basic.
Please guide me in this direction , with details. Are there any other better options available ?
Thanks
Regards,
Namita.

Hi namita ,
You can explore another option for your requirement
DUET -Microsoft Office Integration (Only possible if the Exchange Server is MS Outlook)
Here , business process is controlled by SAP business workflow .With duet , any SAP workflow step can be handled Through Microsoft outlook .
For this the prerequisites are
1) MS office client
2) MS windows server
3) SAP ERP
4) MS exchange
hope this helps.
Thanks,
sahiba

Hi Namitha,
If u using ECC6.0 U can do it by using Extended Notifications for Business Workflow
For that u have to Maintain E-Mail address in SU01 Transaction,
Then u Have to configure SWNCoNFIG Txn.
u have to schedule the Program Swn_selsen Program . it will send the workitems to the external mail.
if u want avoid sap logon u can go for Desktop Single sign-on .
then it wont ask for logon.
