suppressed a field in value contract

I need to suppress value released field that is a part of value contract. can any one tell me how can i suppress that fields?

Hi,

There are two ways.Out of these only this first one is suggestable.

Goto T.Code:SHD0.

Enter the T.Code as VA41.

Enter.

Select the transaction variant as "BUS2034".

Enter.

Click on Transaction variants tab.

Our field "value released" is in the screen 4909.

Check if this screen variant is there or not.If not we have to create a new variant with this name.

In this identify our field i.e. "Value released".

Check the check box "Invisible".

Save.

Maintain this variant in VOV8 screen for your document type.

For standard the document type is WK1.Select that one and goto details.

In "Transaction flow" tab maintain the variant as "BUS2034".

Save.

One more way is Goto T.Code:SE51

Enter the program name as "SAPMV45A" and Screen number as "4909".

Select "Layout Editor" and click on change.

Double click on "Value released".Attributes screen will be opened.

At the bottom in attributes tab,goto Display tab and select "Invisble".

Save.

But because of the second case it will be suppressed for all document types.So pls use the first one only.

Hi Ajay,

You can suppress the required fields using Screen Variant thro T. Code - "SHD0". It is not advisable to do Screen Variant for Standard T. Code - VA41, as other regions will have an impact. Hence you can assign this Screenvariant for a new "Z" T. Code like ZVA41 in the Transaction Variant option in "SHD0".
