Inventory Cube Data upload

Dear Gurus,

We are facing a problem in uploading data in the inventory cube. Recently we had error in the delta uploads which is similar to below message

"Record 3796 :Value 'B00676 ' (hex. '420030003000360037003600A000 ') of characteristic 0BATCH contains invalid character"

Even though there are no characters that can be identified as invalid in the mentioned value, system was throwing up the error. Similar batch numbers were being loaded in th infocube earlier and the issue started on the data loaded on a particular date.

We tried deleting and running a reinitialization of the inv data but the error persists and we are unable to load the data

Please let us know if there is any solution to this issue. I have checked transaction rskc and all possible characters are included there.

Your value 'B00676 ' contain Space which might be considering as invalid chaarcters. You can delet the req from data target. coorect the records in PSA and then reload. Alternatively you can write a transfer routine for that object which will remove special characers.

    Hope this helps.
