Currency Translation issue (valuation at Historical Rate)

Dear Experts,

I would like to know How Do you value Balance Sheet Items at Historical Rate.

Basically, The Source Indo cube i.e. FIGl_C10 gives the total Records, And hence we dont get Line Item wise details, so in such case How do we tackle valuation of GL items at Historical Rate?

Hi Ritesh

The exchange rate valid at the time to which the item to be translated relates is the Historical Rate.

In our client for the opening P&L A/c , we use historical value to carry forward the balance.

What if the Translation Group Currency is not maintained in R/3?

We used to load currency rates into ODS and from there - to the standard TCUR* tables which keep the C/T settings and rates.
