Dear Gurus,

I am trying to upload Asset Master Data thru Transaction code AS 91(LSMW). I am getting "E698 SYST: Abnormal termination (ANLB-LGJAN 1 not equal to ANLC- " error.

My requirement is I will upload the Asset Gross amount in takeover values without accumulated depreciation and capitalization date i will keep as 01.04.2000, so system will give me a proposed depreciation till 2009 and i will compare the same with my legacy data. This activity is to cross check for Accumulated depreciation.

Kindly advice me whether the above wil serve my requirement.

Hi,

If you want to cross check accum dep values, create one sample asset in your sandbox with the appropriate dep key.

And compare with your legacy data.

While doing AS91, you should always enter the original capitalisation date of that asset, if you enter 01.04.2000, then after comparing accum dep values, again you must need to change the cap date to original , then system will allow you to change the cap date but this change will not applicable to fields like First acq on, First acq year, and period.

So create your asset with AS91 and put the correct cap date and original APC value and accum dep till last closed FY in the takeover values tab.

This will resolve your issue.
