Std cost selection error

Hi All

While running std cost in CK40N, in material selction screen i have mentionned Plant Number and Material HALB.

There are around 5000 Materials in HALB type with price control S. But system is only picking very few materials close to 30 Only.

I deleted and created new cost estimate but still its selecting only 30 materials.

I also tried running other materials which are not picked in that 30 list and run CK11N it is updating.

WHY THESE MATERIALS NOT PICKED IN ck40N.

    Hi,

Check for the costing with qty structure settings.. in costing 1 view check whether "with qty structure" is ticked for all the materials which has bom and "Do not Cost" is not ticked.

Also check the BOM explosions and routing in conjunction with the costing variant u r using.

I think this is because of non existence/incomplete qty structure for the materials. Check the 30 materials which are getting selected in the run vis-a-vis to check for these settings.

    Dear Aravind,

1.Check whether for those materials already a std cost estimate exists .

2.In my understanding they must be having a valid BOM and routing,so that's the reason you are able to execute CK11N.

3.In such cases the system throws messages if certain products are having the error cost estimate.

check and revert back with your further queries.
