How to calculate gross profit and net profit in p/l statement.

Hi Neetu,

When you mentioned: showing the correct report in the PL statement, what do you mean? Is it only by Print Preview?

showing the correct report in PL means that when i am running the report (PL) in sap b1 as per the template i creates ,it is showing the total as i created the formula in template ,but when i am checking the print preview it is not showing the Total row .

how to solve this problem,i want to show the Total in print document as well as sap b1 screen.

There are two templates in the context. One is Financial Report Template. The other is Print Layout Template. Please make sure you use the different terms for each. Otherwise, it is too confusing.

Test this in test environment

Got Financials -> Financia Report Template in that follow this steps

1.Report -> Choose (Balance Sheet)

2.Template-> Define New-> Give the name for template

3.And click the "Generate Chart of account" button

4.Check the Subtotal Check box

5.now u can see Formula button

using this button create appropriate formula for your requirement(ask help your A/C department)

6.Chose this template in P/L

i created the template,but when clicking sub total in formula field i am not able to get revenue and expenditure.

I created formula in template,it is working ok...and showing the correct report in the PL statement but when i am printing that report ,it in not showing the formula value i created in template.
