Fiori Transporting of Catalogues, Groups, Tiles, Target Mapping

I am new to Fiori and have successfully created a Z catalogue, groups, tiles and target mappings in the DEV system. To transport I used customising and using the URL with scope. The transport worked fine to our QAS system.

In DEV I have now changed a target mapping and tile and deleted some tiles and target mapping which saved to a customising transport but not all the changes have gone accross to the QAS system.

Having researched further I have found the following statement:

Customizing (CUST)
• This layer can be used for testing or other purposes
• Workbench (CONF)
• All content that you want to deliver to customers must be created in the CONF

I have liaised with basis and they have instructed me to try transaction /ui2/'flpd_conf in DEV.

This transaction takes me to config Fiori Admin Client All (red) which is workbench which supports the above statement. However, when I search for my Z catalogue it does not exist.

Do I have to create everything again using this transaction and work bench transport?

I am unsure as to why customising did work and now it is spasmodic when making changes.

LPD_CUST and the authorisation role are fine and have transported. My users in QAS can see the tiles in the launchpad so all okay there.

Basis have checked transaction SCC4 and it is set to 'Automatic recording of changes'.

    'CUST' is the right way of doing changes.

    • If some changes does not seem to have moved, you login to QAS Fiori Admin (as CUST) and check if the changes have really moved.

    If all looks good in QAS Fiori Admin, but changes does not appear in QAS Fiori Launchpad, it might be due to cache issue. Clear all cache.

    • If changes have not really reached to QAS Admin, make small changes (like description) to the Catalog/Group, so that those objects get captured in customizing transport again. Then move those transports.

    Many thanks. I have checked in QAS transaction /UI2/FLPD\_CUST and the deletions have not occurred as the total of tiles and target mapping are greater than DEV and when I search for the deleted items they can be found.

    Unfortunately I may have to delete from QAS Fiori Admin as I cannot re save items in DEV as they no longer exists. Unless there is another option I can use.

    I will however re save the change made as suggested.

    I am concerned though when I get to production if I have had to delete in QAS as this would also have to be done in Prod.
