Hello Colleagues,
our SAP PI Developers facing Java heap space errors during accessing mapping under ESR. How we are able to increase Java memory on the client PC regarding Integration Builder (ESR)?
Many Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Jochen
Hello Joshen,
If you use classic WebStart / Swing based ESR tool, Java heap space size used by it, can be adjusted in repository.jnlp that you download when accessing ESR from XI Start Page (Xms is used to specified initial heap size, Xmx - maximum heap size):
If instead of WebStart ESR, you use ESR perspective in NWDS, you can adjust same properties in NWDS configuration file:

Hi!
Was anyone able to set more than 1536m as max heap size? With 1536m everything is working fine but if I set it to 2048m (there are 8 GB of RAM available) I can't start the Integration Builder...
Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
Thanks a lot,
Christian

Hi,
If its PI problem, then ask Basis team to clean PI logs.
If client system has problem, then follow two things:-
Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items - Open Java.
1. Under General Tab - Open Settings.. and then Click on Delete Files..
2. In same Temporary Files Settings window:- Check "Keep temporary files on my computer" and Put cache Location and put Disk Space maximum.
Thanks and regards,
