Hi,
I will be loadng purchasing data via a queued delta and I just wanted to confirm whether I would be doing it correctly. i.e. as follows:
*STOP DOCUMENT PROCESSING*
(1) Fill the setup tables in R/3
*DOCUMENT PROCESSING CAN RESUME*
(2) Carry out initialisation of data in BW
(3) Carry out V3 run via LBWE
(4) Carry out deltas
Key point is when the document processing can start and stop. My understanding because it is a queued delta, document processing only needs to stop while the setup tables are filled.
Many thanks,
Leo
Hi,
The reason I asked the question is becasue in the SAP Manual it states the following
Once the restructuring tables are filled, document editing can resume as long as Unserialized V3 Update or Queued
Delta is selected in the next step.
I just wanted to clarify this - for the above the steps which I initially wrote should be correct?
Thanks,
Leo

Hello,
you are correct.
you can resume the job once the set up tables are filled and init is done so that all the changes are going into the delta queue.
so it should be like this.If not done this way then you miss some delta records.
*STOP DOCUMENT PROCESSING*
(1) Fill the setup tables in R/3
(2) Carry out initialisation of data in BW (init without data transfers)
*DOCUMENT PROCESSING CAN RESUME*
New step -Full repair loads
(3) Carry out V3 run via LBWE
(4) Carry out deltas

Hi Leo
*DOCUMENT PROCESSING CAN RESUME*
after
(2) Carry out initialisation of data in BW .
You lost documents when you resume processing documents befor init delta.
These documents which were posted in R3 between resume processing and init delta.
