Font conversion

Hi,

I developped an interactive form but I have a problem of layout.

My form (which is a legal form so I must keep the layout) use "ArialNarrow" as font.

When I display it in "Preview PDF" tab, everything is OK. But when I call my form in a report, the PDF file generated is not correct.

Fonts are converted in "MyriadPro" and so layout is incorrect (texts overwritten, text is out of window,...).

Does somebody could help me ?

Hello Chintan ,

Sorry I couldn't respond to you earlier, was very busy.

I thought that the correct Context structure with correct cardinality and singleton can receive the data from the form. I'v tried the two advises I found on the SDN (see hyperlinks in the firs post).

Please provide some leads on this? Could you explain in some more details your suggestion about create the context dynamically in Web Dynpro, which Context structure I have to use. It would be much appreciated.

Hi Ado,

If the fonts is changed it's because the fonts doesn't exist on ADS server , just add it and that will normally works.

If you need help on adding fonts tell me.

Dear Bertrand,

I added font to ADS ( /usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/FontManagerService/fonts/customer ) but it's not work. We need in Times New Roman font but in preview only Myriad...

yes that's it.

I asked to my administrator to install fonts in Adobe Server and it works.

Luerio,

The font and its default substitution may be causing the issue when you access the form from server.
