Hi,

In BEx 3.x, After you have opened the workbook, go to the context menu (Right click), you would get the option of Properties, Go to the tab that says interaction, Now check the option that says "Refresh query when opening workbook", and click the button that says OK for all Queries.

Hope this helps,

regards,

Sree.

HI

We are using BI7 for modelling and 3.5 for Bex.

Bex is not upgraded yet.

Hi,

With 3.x Analyzer,

You can refresh all the queries in workbook at one shot or refresh individual queries by placing the mouse pointer in the respective data.

If you click the Refresh button available in the BEx toolbar,it will prompt you a message stating that you want to refresh all the queries embedded in the workbook or not.

Clicking Yes of this message prompt will refresh all the queries mapped in the workbook.

HI

Yes, I know this option but when I say refresh then it doesn't refresh all queries on the workbook.

No, the mouse pointer should not be in the data part, it can be anywhere else except the query output part to get the pop up to refresh all queries.

If you want to refresh only that active sheet query then the mouse pointer needs to be in the query output part.

I think Praveen is right. We can not refresh all queries by mouse pointer. Only be albe to refresh that perticular query by mouse pointer.

Hi Charan,

Thatswhat I was trying to convey you.

Placing the mouse in particular query will refresh only that query. To refresh all the queries, you have click Refresh Query option.

To refresh all queries:

1) Keep the mouse pointer/Cursor in the sheet which is not "Active sheet" (where there is no query data or components of query) some white part in the excel of same sheet. This is critical part for refresh all queries in workbook to work.

2) Now hit the refresh button in the toolbar.
