so without deleting the payroll wht i can see is that need the store the infotype data in Z tables prior to the changed information and process an action for hiring which will include the maintaining of data for all the infotypes..so is this the right solution????

By using the two personnel action types Incorrect entry and Corrected entry, you can change an employee's entry date after they have been included in a payroll run and if the incorrect entry date lies before the employee's actual entry date. You can only perform a payroll correction run if you run these two actions one after the other.

Hi Sonu16,

The Query is not very clear to me.

I think u want to change the date of joining after the payroll run along with position. If that is the case then u can do it.

Please followw the given steps :-

1) Go to PU03 for Payroll Status and delete all the dates, before doing it take a snapshot of the PU03. So that after changing it u can revert back to what it was.

2) Go to PA41, move to HIRING action and u'll get BEGDA in modifiable mode, then change it. Save it. But the noticeable thing is that ur present Position shud have a creation date well before ur new HIRING date otherwise u won't be allowed to change.

3) Thinking u have changed the date in Step #2, then go to SE16 and select PA0001, go to debugger mode and change the POSITION id. save it and come out and refresh it. Changes will be updated.

Hope this solves the purpose.

just try to change the start date and end date thru PA41

and we cannot delete the Pay roll results if we have posted the results to FICO

yes without Deleting the results we can go ahead Process wise

but

Ex: An employee starting date is 1.01.2009 but the user by mistake made 10.10.2009 so the payment will be made to respective working days so the amount will be paid for that days only

and also...... the same results are posted to FICO which are wrong

Check this one before if u want to go ahead
