You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS90100059'

Hi Experts,

I have created a workflow to send an email to absence approver. When testing I am getting an error 'You are not one of the possible agents of task 'WS90100059'. I have marked all the tasks as general. What could be the possible reasons for getting this error?

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Have you tried SWU_OBUF?

Is the task that sends the email a background task?

Have you set workflow WS90100059 to General task?

Hi Rick,

I have set the workflow to general task and the task which sends mail is a background task.

I am not sure about SWU_OBUF, can you explain it clearly.

SWU_OBUF is used to refresh the Organizational Management relevant to workflow [check this|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/c5/e4b239453d11d189430000e829fbbd/content.htm]

Hi Srini,

I guess refreshing the buffer using SWU_OBUF should solve the issue. Also test with a fresh instance of the workflow.

1. Goto PFTC Txn select the workflow template

2. Mention the workflow template number 90100059

3. Open in display mode and on MENU goto -> Additional Data--> Agent Assignemtn ---> Maintian -

> Select GEneral task.

Save and exit from the txn , Now refresh buffer by executing the txn SWU_OBUF and after that click SHIFT + F1
