Result recording view

Hello,

While doing result recording, in TESTING system, I can record the values directly in General view - Result column. But the result columns are disabled in Production system. I checked the 'User Settings' in both systems and are same.

What could be the reason for this?

check whether

1. characteristics is in skip status or

2. in previous characteristics is Conditional Characteristic (After Acceptance/ After rejection)

3. DMR is appied in inspection plan

Hi,

I got the answer while comparing the QM view itself (though somwhat strange).

In material master QM view (for inspection type 03), there was a tick 'Serial Number Possible' though the serial number procedure did not include 'QMSL'.

This disabled the result recording in 'General view' in result recording screen.

When I removed the tick, it did allow me to record values in General view (for the new lot).
