SAPphone for Winclient and IC Webclient

Hi Experts,

Does anyone know that if sapphone is use, how does the system knows whether to channel the incoming call to webclient or winclient? This question arises because we are using sapphone for Winclient and we are moving to IC webclient. When I simulate incoming call, SAP GUI Winclient sapphone dialog box appear instead of IC webclient. Points will be awarded for helpful answer. Thanks!

Hello WS,

To facilitate the customers who want to upgrade from IC WinClient with SAPphone integration to IC WebClient, the SAPphone integration with IC WebClient has been implemented as an alternative solution.

With the Integration of the SAPphone with the IC WebClient, unfortunately It is only possible to test the SAPphone integration with a working CTI. The test server NULL (RFC = NONE) cannot be used for testing. However, there is no error of running it with NULL but will not possible to do any call simulation.
