Calculation cannot be performed

I basically get the above message each time in securities processing. I would appreciate any help to get clarity on this matter

Could you please provide the message number and also specify when you are getting the message so that it would be easy to find.

Are you getting it when you are creating the securities transaction?

Hi,

Are you getting this message when you are using bonds or stocks because I could this message when bond price is calculated from effective interest price. This comes when bond pricing cannot be calculated through effective interest rate. Check your bond pricing procedure. While creating the transaction try giving a different effective interest rate so that bond price could be calculated from it.

Hi Victor,

In spro , goto Treasury and Risk management -> transaction manager -> Securities -> master data -> product types -> define product types. There for your bond product type, eg: 04I or 04H etc.., in calculation method, specify the effective interest method as AIBD/ISMA or MoosMueller etc..

Check if it solves your problem. Else even while creating the security class ( FWZZ ), for bonds, you can specify or change default , in the conditions tab.
