I need to downloiad Data Services 3.1 (12.1.1.2EB) from SMP.

I found version 12.1.1.2 in the following SMP Support location:

Help & Support --> SAP BusinessObjects Packages and Support --> SAP BusinessObjects packages and products --> SBOP DATA SERVICES --> BOBJ DATA SERVICES XI 3.1 --> DATA SERVICES XI 3.1 (12.1.1.2)

Is this the 12.1.1.2EB version, or is 12.1.1.2EB in another location?

My client found the DS installation package. so I no longer need to download from SMP.

are you looking for LA fix pack ?

the current fix pack is 12.1.1.3, you should use that it will have all the fixes done after 12.1.1.2, including anything done for a LA (Limited Availability) fix pack

Hi Dhyani, I downloaded this fix pack 12.1.1.3 from the SMP and something it's wrog with it, because it's triggering many "al_engine.exe" sessions until my physical memory limit is reached in my laptop, a Win XP SP2 and then continues openning more sessions in virtual memory.

This never ocurred in the previous versions.

Please advise.

you need find out what these al_engine process are, and which process is triggering them, do you have Real Time Jobs configured ?

do you have any invalid repository connection in your job server ?

do you have any jobs scheduled ? (check the windows scheduler task list)

is this happening if you execute a job ? check the PID of DF in the tace and once the job completes check if the DF process is getting killed or not
