Few questins reg XCelsius

Hello

I have few questions reg XCelsius

1. Why and where XCelsius server is needed?

2. I published Xcelsius dasboard to the infoview. Will the dashboard be updated with new data?

3. I would like to run VBA code within Xcelsius Excel spreadsheet. Is it possible to run it automatically once the dasboard has been executed?

Thanks a lot

    Hi

    1. Why and where XCelsius server is needed?

Xcelsius Server is required if you want to connect to more data sources, the 'Server' isn't actually a server. See here for a comparison:

    2. I published Xcelsius dasboard to the infoview. Will the dashboard be updated with new data?

It all depends on how you have designed your dashboard and setup your data connections.

    3. I would like to run VBA code within Xcelsius Excel spreadsheet. Is it possible to run it automatically once the dasboard has been executed?

No. VBA is not supported from within Xcelsius.
