WPC RSS Link List - External RSS

Has anyone been able to make this work for an external RSS feed? I can make it work if I export the RSS/XML file and upload it into the portal, but that would count as Internal.

I have been told you have to have an http system defined? I have defined one for my the external/target website, but I still cannot make the RSS Link List work.

Help...please?

Did you solve your problem? I am having a similar issue and am not able to resolve it. Any help would be appreciated.

In case used, you have to define a Proxy server.

For NW 7.3 :

Note : I had to set 'set proxy settings to JVM system properties' to true, otherwise it didn't work.

Our WPC RSS feeds works fine now, I'm reading RSS feeds from CNN as test.
