Consolidation area not getting saved

Dear Experts,

We are implementing the restatement functionality into our SEM-BCS system (upgraded from 600 to 602 release)

We have added restatement info objects to catalogue & transaction cube as well. And when we could save the data basis as well. as a next step we did added the "restatement charecter to consolidation area & we have an issue in saving.

No error message is displayed but its hung. it was around 45 min we are did wait And we have killed the task.

can any one help me, it will be great.

    Never saw such thing before because of restatement IO.

    It's either data basis or DB inconsistensy.

    Apply to basis people. They may cure the DB problems.

    Data basis might be cured by simple regeneration. But, in many cases the remedy might be very tricky. If you or your team cannot solve the problem, raise The message to SAP.

      Dear experts,

      The problem was solved.. I reverted the data basis changes & saved ; Again did the same settings and saved. (recaptured the changes) when I went to consolidation area changes & savced the databasis whichgot saved but it took 3 hours to save,, I am not sure why it took long time.
