Storage location in Production order

In planned order iam getting some storage locations for components in component list but when i convert planned order into production order then storage location for components changes .

Please guide what causes this change in storage location from planned order to production order.

    Hi,

    If Storage location is changing when converting planned order to production order, then check if there is an active implementation of the user exit PPCO0005 This exit is used to change Storage locations when order is created.

    Take the help of your abaper for this.

    Hi,

    Keep storage location for component material issue in BOM , production version and material master same.Also check that the data in APO if you are using APO as planning tool.Please also check the storage location maintained in planned order for components by going to components details of planned orders.

    HI

    Plz check in Material master of components in work schedulling view you have maintained the production storage location and in BOM of header material under item details production storage location both are same or not .if no then maintain the loction which you want to issue the material either same in both or maintain only in material master or in BOM
