Hi Colleagues,

we have a scenario were we are loading data from Totals cube to another Bais cube as full upload based on fyiscal yr period.

monthly load .

now we want to do delta load from the current month so i have made Initlization w/o data transfer with selections as given in full upload except selection for fyiscal yr period.is not given as we need delta for new records .

Now when i do delta i am not able to get the data from Totals cube i.e 0 of 0records are coming .

please help me on this .

    Hi venkat,

    Why do not use the standard delta load for BCS described in several HowTos?

    Hi Eugne,

    Thanks for the reply .

    My scenario is little different .

    We have virtual cube in BCS i.e Totalcube p03_cv10.

    BWP:

    We are extracting data from BCS Totals cube to BWP system .

    Totalcube p03_cv10 is made as export datasource (sap external System) .

    And from that cube we are doing full uplaod to basic cube by restriction on Fiscal yr period 0008.2009 (monthly).

    we have achieved this at IP level by keeping{ abap variabletype 6 for fiscal yr period selection }

    Now requirement is that we want to have delta load from next fiscal yr period i.e009.2009 .

    but I a getting 0 records ,I have done Init w/0 data transfer with same selections as in full upload except the (abap variable for fiscal yr period selection at IP )

    thanks
