WIP Cot post to the Gl account after the settlement you need to CO88 or KO88.

Work in Process for partially delivered orders and for Variances for fully delivered orders are posted to Financial Accounting after Settlement only.

    • Dear,

That depends on the nature of settlement; if you settle your costs from one cost object (let's say internal order) to another (cost centre, other I/O, etc.), then no accounting document is to be created. However, if you settle cost to AuC, for example, then you'd expect an accounting document as well, because you transfer costs from P&L to balance sheet accounts

Please note Once the Status of the Production order becomes Delivered we have to caculate the variances through kks2 then calculate the wip again through kkax and settle the wip again through ko88. Then the wip which was settled earlier will be reversed.

You can calculate the wip for partial delivered orders and the same may be settled to FI WIP ac debit and Change in invetory account will be credited and once complete the order you can reverse the wip and calculate the variances on the order.

If the WIP on a production order (with full settlement) is cancelled depends on the status of the production order. In standard this is DLV or TECO and is maintained in the valuation method in Customizing. Thereupon variances and settlement have to be executed as well. After the settlement the WIP account in FI should have been offset as well.

      Hope clear to you.
