Costing error No structure could be determined

Dear Gurus,

When I run Cost estimate with quantity structure in CK11N for an semifinished assy, I am getting the below error for the activities.

No structure could be determined for internal activity LABOR (COSTCENTER)

Message no. CK694

Diagnosis

The system could not determine a cost component split for the internal activity with activity type LABOR of cost center COSTCENTER.

Procedure

Check the master data for activity type LABOR of cost center COSTCENTER. It is possible that no activity price calculation has been carried out for the cost center.

Hi,

Check in KP26 whether you have fixed price for LABOR for the cost center. Further, check the cost component structure in OKTZ

whether the cost element for labour has been assigned.

Hi Sada,

I have maintained the fixed price in KP26. Also the Costcoponent structure is assigned with cost element for this activity.

Check in KL02 for activity LABOR, Price indicator is set to 1; Actual Act.type category is 1; and Actual price

indicator is 5.

Hello

Could you please check the OSS note "SAP Note 1872228 - No Cost Component Split in Plan Price Calculation". I have also faced the same issues and it get solved by implementing this oss note.

Before implementing this oss note, check whether KP26, KP06, Cost component structure are OK. Then execute the process KSS4 for Plan cost split and then KSPI.

Then check the report S_ALR_87013644, whether the cost component split is working or not. If not then implement the oss note 1872228.

Hi Murugesan,

Use T. code KEI2 and check that PA structure for LABOR is properly maintained or not if not maintain the same properly accordingly, also check that created Activity Type is assigned to the material BOM because the cost center assigned to the corresponding work center helps to calculate the unit cost for the product costing.
