Query on Multiprovider

Hi,

I have issue regarding query on Multiprovider which is based on 2 cubes. There is material in both cubes. In the report output I want to show 2 columns for materials coming from these two different cubes. But I donu2019t see any option to differentiate characteristic material based on cube. Is there any way out for this. Any input is appreciated!

    Hello,

You can create two different selections in key figure structure and restrict the infoprovider. In addition to that, you can just put the InfoProvider to drilldown and see result for different infoproviders.

    Hope it is helpful,

      Hi Meric,

Thanks for your reply but this is very much possible in terms of key figure which I am aware. I am talking about characteristics display. Material is characteristics. I need 2 columns for material coming from two different cubes. Any help on this ?

    Hello Praveen,

In order to have two dynamic fields from same object like material you wont be able to do that. But with the structure you can create this two columns but it wont list the materials just show the total value based on your figure.

For characteristic display, you can drilldown the InfoProvider object from data package dimension. Put material and Infoprovider together in rows or columns to see different view.

    Regards,

    Meric

    Hi Praveen

Define a structure on columns, with the material and infoprovider in the details of the selection. This should do it.

    Thanks.
