Hi,

You can assign value fields for cost component structure in respect of the material cost estimate. By doing this, the material cost component can be viewed in the COPA reports.

As regards, the actual activities, once the same is confirmed on the production order, and when you settle the production orders, the variances would be posted to copa. for this you need to maintain PA transfer structure for prodution variances..

Trust this helps much.

Hi,

After having mapped the cost component structure with value fields and having maintained the PA transfer structure for Production variances, you may create a form / report, wherein you can group the value fields for cost component structure (which would determine the standard cost) and the value fields relevant for production variances to get the production cost.

Trust this helps.

Hi Prem,

What swapvik said correct.

One additonal point is:

there could be some variances left in Production cost centers. These values also need to be taken to COPA in order to get the contribution statement correct. This can be done using COPA Assessment cycle.

Hello Suryanarain,

I agree with swapvik but my question how to map it,

I had assigned the primary cost element of all consumption a/c in OKB9 and ticked the profitablity segment but this setting capture the bom cost to COPA how to ca[pture direct labour cost and other over head cost which comes from secondary cost element, whether i had to create ann COPA assessment cycle or any other way.

Suggest,
