Partial lot assignment and several inspection points

Hi all,

Question 1:

I am wondering what does the following means on the Partial Lot assignment indicator in the master recipe:

u2022 Inspection points

Does this mean if I have 3 partial inspection lots created as a result of batch split, these 3 partial lots are assigned to the inspection point setup in the header? am i right?

u2022 Inspection points - partial lots

I have no idea of this? can you give an example?

u2022 Inspection points - partial lots - batches

Question 2:

Further, the SAP help portal said "Several inspection points can be assigned to an inspection operation. With inspection points, you can have several inspections and can record multiple sets of characteristic results for an operation."

When I look at the master recipe operation level, there is no inspection point value to indicate (the inspection point value is only able to place it on the header level), so how does the above statement possible in system setup?

Thanks

Karen
