TRM-Accural/Deferral

Hello,

At time of go live, we setup accural/deferaal on reset basis for money market and securities. But now business is unhappy with this process and want difference procedure . I changed it to difference procedure under spro -CFM - ACCOUNITNG - ACCURAL /DEFERRAL but still system is calculating on accural on reset basis. Any idea or is there any OSS note to ally. Thanks

Hi,

You are in which version? ECC 6.0, then you have to change the procedure for money market and securities separately in

IMG -- FSCM -- Treasury and Risk Management -- Transaction Manager -- General settings -- Accounting -- Accrual / Deferral

Here you need to change the procedure for money market and under update types you need to change for securities.

I did necessary changes there but when I tried to run TPM44. I get following message.

Message no. TPM_AD203

Diagnosis

An update type for the accrual/deferral flow has not been specified for positions with the parameters xxxx( company code),001,040,04I and update type .

Procedure

Define an update type for the accrual/deferral flow

any input about message.

Hi,

In the same IMG settings, you should create an entry for your tax update type as your profit related flow. Then you specify the accrual method and the accrual update type and reset update type. You should create an update type for the same and assign it to accrual/deferral usage. This will be the update type which will be generated for the accrual flow of your tax type.
