Crystal Reports 2008 Export Options

Hello

When I'm designing a report with Crystal Reports 2008 and I do the following

File > Export > Export Report > Choose Excel as Format / Disk as destination

Then I get a 'Format Excel Options' dialog box that allows me to change things such as column widths etc.

When I run the report through crystal viewer (or at runtime in a .Net project) then I do not get this dialog.

I know I can programitically set these format options, but I need the user to be able to choose using the dialog. Does anyone know why I do not see the dialog in Crystal Viewer?

I don't think you have an option to get the export format option screen in viewer but you can save those changes in export options by doing this in Crystal Designer.

go to file>export>report export options now select the options by slecting excel and click on OK so that those options will be saved for the report. So when you export to excel from .net or crystal viewer it will export to excel using those options.
