Jurisdiction code greyed out in PO

HI All,

In ECC 6.0, I have activated the BADI "ME_TAX_FROM_ADDRESS" so that the jurisdiction code field will get derived from delivery address tab of the PO. But after activating this BADI, jurisdiction code field in invoice tab of the PO is greyed out. We want to change the jurisdiction code in case of some PO document types. We have modified the BADI so that it will work for certain document types and for other document types it will take the jurisdiction code from plant.

But in the both the cases, jur code field in invoice tab is greyed out after activating this BADI.

Could you please help me how to enable that field? I hope this is not related to screen layout setting for PO, as this is started occuring only after activating the BADI. DId anyone face this issue? Could you plz help me with the codings that can be entered in that BADI?

Plz help.

Thanks,

Arun

    Hi,

Try changing it in delivery address tab, so that will get reflected in invoice tab.

The field is not greyed out in delivery address tab.

    Thanks,

    Ravi

      Hi RAvi,

In ECC 6.0, we cannot directly change the jur code in delivery addess. For that we need to change the entire address details. If the jur code that we entered manually in delivery address tab is not matching the other information in address tab, then it will give an error.

      Thanks,

      Arun
