How to Print a Crystal Report from Enterprise

Hi

Can someone help me how to print a crystal report directly from Business Objects enterprise at the time of scheduling. I have gone through the admin guide there it mentioned to give \*\Printer servername \Pinter name.* under print settings of report object.

I tried different ways but no luck. I do not know whether do i need to do any other configuration on server side or not?

If any ideas please let me know.

Server is on Windows server , BOBJ XI3.1

Thanks

Sudharsan.

Hi

you have to make sure that the account under which the BO services run (normally this is the local system account) has the rights access to the printer. Normally you should create a domain account and make it member of the local administrators group on hte machine your BOBJ server is installed on. This user should also have the rights to access the printer. Then you can use the CCM (Central Configuration Manager) utility, stop the SIA, open its properties, enter the credentials of the new user in the Log on as area and restart the SIA.

Thanks for reply. I am running SIA on administrator account (domain Account) of BOBJ server and i am able to ping the printer IP from BOBJ server. But when i tried to mention the same thing at print settings of report object. It is throwing me an error of "Invalid Printer Specified"

Thanks
