Hi All,

I have added 'Add Printer' functionality in CRM 7.0 navigation bar.

When I click on Add Printer button on left navigation bar, it gives following error.

-

Business Server Page (BSP) error

What happened?

Calling the BSP page was terminated due to an error.

SAP Note

The following error text was processed in the system:

BSP exception: Object addprinterset.htm in URL sap/z_crm_ic/addprinterset.htm is a view; start the corresponding controller

-

Could anyone please suggest what I am missing?

Thanks,

Amit.

Hi Amit,

what exactly did you do to add 'Add Printer' functionality in the WebUI navigation bar?

Did you check the htm-pages?

Hi Thea,

In this functionality, can add printer from drop-down menu to a user.

Actually I need to transfer Add Printer functionality from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0.

In CRM 5.0, there is one BSP application (Z_CRM_BSP5) which has AddPrinter.htm view.

Here in CRM 7.0, they have one BSP application (Z_CRM_BSP7) which has AddPrinter.htm view.

Here in CRM 7.0, it has implementation class having business logic for printer same as CRM 5.0.

But when I load BSP application in CRM 7.0 through BSP_WD_WORKBENCH t-code, it gives following information.

Error while loading the runtime repositor

HTTP

And gives same information while expanding the view inside the BSP (Z_CRM_BSP7) application.

If you could guess any possible reason for Business Server Page (BSP) error?

Thanks,

Amit

Hi Amit,

Did you check if the repository.xml of this BSP-Application is correct?

Hi Amit,

I have worked on similar issue printer change functionality to be added from crm 5.0 to crm 7.0.

bsp tags (like crmic which you are using in 5.0 are not supported in 7.0 so you have to use the tags thtmlb in htm page of the view.you have to create a new component for this )
