Heres what i'm doing to insert rows/columns..
1)for example on Time Dimension(with 4 quarters)..lets say i want to have a delta between 2nd and 3rd quarters.
2)i insert a column, name it, put the reqd formula in the first cell.
3)change the colkeyrange to exclude tht column and run the report..(have a concatenated range instead of a continuous one)
did i miss any step?
4)i expand. now i have 9 coulumns and the delta is moved to the 5th col instead of 5 columns and delta in 3rd col as i created it....the number of columns goes on increasing with "expandall"'s.
5)if i put a noexpand in the Memberset for Time..i can retain the 5 columns which i created
but with this I cannot change my year....which i want to ahve the ability to change the year.
any ideas/pointers where i might be messing up things or missing a step...
