Tables XTBLGART & UNB in Payroll Log

Hi Experts,

Can anybody let me know the significance of Internal Tables XTBLGART (Payroll log-> Func US Tax -> Input) and UNB (Payroll log-> Func US Tax -> Output). I want to know the circumstances under which these tables get populated.
