Hello, Forum -
Quick question: My IT group and I were looking over some of the folders within the SAP BPC program and under the ADMINAPP folder (...Webfolders\(AppSet Name)\ADMINAPP\) we noticed a whole bunch of DIM files ([ApplicationName]Select_##.DIM).
I opened a few and all that was in these files were 3 dimension references and their members (Category, Entity, and Time).
I am not sure how these files are created (guess: every time you run a Data Manager package?), but my question is this: can I delete these files? Will that cause any problems?
I checked the SAP support site and could not find any documentation as to what these files are and how they are created.
Can anyone shed any light on this subject and advise if it's OK to remove these files from the system?
Please advise.
Carlo
You can delete these files without any problem.
I t will not cause any issue. Are just used during the run time of DM package after that are not used any more.
