Hi SAP gurus,
I am on support projct for middle east. Due to Id holidays, client want to run payroll 10 days befire its schedule date of 25th every month. Can some one suggest how to handle this issue and what could be the implications of runing the payroll in advance.
Regards
Shivani
Hi Shivani,
U can try for Payroll on demand option. This u cn get through the off-cycle workbench option.
by using this option u dnt need to change the payment date or anything else. But might be a lengthy process as i m nt getting any option for group of employee.

Praveen

manikya is correct, better you change the payment date.
the effect is if you run off-cycle.
example: your payment date is 25, but you do payroll run in 15, and exit payroll in 16.
you can not run off-cycle with date before 25, eventhough you already exit payroll.
but if you change payment date to 16, you can freely run off-cycle after exit payroll.
other effect is just record payment date in payroll cluster.
if you don't run off-cycle and payment date is ignored, actually no problem if you do not changing the payment date.

I think you need to change the pay day and generate the pay period
I am not sure
