Old Sales Order

Hi All

We have been using the delivery note as our pick list for the years we have had SAP B1.

Management have requested that we use the Pick and Pack/Pick list facility in the inventory system. I have noticed that there are a number of old Sales orders dating back to 2007.

My question is id i close the sales orders that are older, what is the effect on the overall postings in the system.
