Hi,
SAP re-org, performance monitor and TMS jobs are failing continuously in the system with the message
'No logon possible (no hw ID received by mssg server)'.
what could be the possible reason for this and the steps to correct this?
Thanx
Balaji Srinivas Singh
Hi All,
The issue was identified with the job definitions. After the system copy from production, the job definitions were containing the production system's settings/information.
changes were made to the job definitions and it is working fine now.
Thnx

After system copy, you have to get the release key information from market place and have to apply in SAP using
secstore.

hi experts.
first check why the job is failing
Go to SM37
check the Job Log
also check short dumps ST22
check the system Log in SM21
Now V3 jobs to extract data from Extraction Quieue or Update table to the Delta queue
So whenever u will run the V3 job
it will extract all the LUW from the Extraction Queue
job should be completed successfully

Hello,
As per your update you have recently refreshed the system from Production.
After that as Post-System copy process, have you installed license again as per your system.
As yoir system is of release 4.7, you must be having normal license key and not the digital license.
Hence please check in transaction "SLICENSE" in your SAP system, it will show you license details of your system.
Also you can login to OS level with sidadm user (where sid is SID of your system).
if your OS is unix, then give command
saplicense -get
This will show you hardware key of your system.
The command
saplicense -show
will give you details about license installed in your system.
If your OS is Windows, open CMD, and then you can use above two commands.
Please let us know if this wont solve your problem, you can put error details.
Regards,
Abhay

Simply, just check and confirm that there should be an entry in /etc/services file your SAP SID and if you place this entry in the last line of the file, then press an enter too to leave the last line blank
sapms<SID><tab>36xx/tcp
where <tab> means there should be tab space between sapmsSID and 36xx/tcp
<SID> is the actual system id
xx is the instance number
for eg.
sapmsADA 3600/tcp #SAP messager server

Hi,
The note indicates the issue which will occur after 7.0 upgrade.
But we are in R/3 4.7 release with BASIS and ABA relase 620, APPL is 470.
The recent activity that happend was the refresh of this system from production (both the systems are at same release levels).
Thanx.
