SAP Business one upgrade simulation

Hi Experts

I downloaded the SAP Business one upgrade simulation and imstalled it to use the reconciliation engine to correct some reconciliation mismatches. But when i try to login to the upgrade simulation tool it gives an error called "Inventory Recalculation Error" any idea about this issue?

I have S user id and a password but could not access the link you send, maybe cos im only SBO customer. How can i proceed with this issue.

Hi Kanishka,

In this case I would recommend you contact your SBO partner & request that he takes the necessary actions. The script is freely available to partners for download.

Hi Kanishka,

please note that the Upgrade Simulation Tool will allow you read-only access to the upgraded database. You will hence be able to determine the IRU impact & give the company accountant the opportunity to investigate & plan a strategy for reconciling any RU journals after the upgrade of the productive database. You are not, however, able to post any transactions in the mock-upgraded database.

The Inventory Recalculation Error could indicate that there are stock issues in the database you are subjecting to the mock upgrade. Please see the 2007 Landing page & navigate to the 'INVENTORY VALUATION CHECKUP'. There is a lot of info & a script you may run on your database.
