    Hi ,

If valuation area is maintained at company code level, the system gives an " plant code does not exist" error in J2I5 transaction while extracting register reports.

The system checks for the valuation area at plant level and when it does not find a relevant entry, it gives this error.

This is basically a program error. Apply note 1239265 , your problem will be solved .

    Hi,

Check in Logistics general > tax on goods movements > India > Basic Settings > Maintain excise groups,

whether the plant has been assigned to the excise group and other required settings have been done.
