Friends,
I need help in Copying invterval from one node to another node in the Hiearacrchy. I have hundreds of interval for one particular child which i have copy into other child and i further restrict the interval using functional area.
As if now i am doing recreating the same interval for each child nodes. I just want to know whether any easiest way to copy and create the same in Child node.

Hi,
Just have the list of interval to be included in a excel sheet and copy those list to clipboard . Go to the child you need and right click insert node and go for the F4 help of it and paste the list you have in clipboard so that you can insert them all at a time.
Else if you are good in preparing a flat file and maintaining the Parent child relation you can prepare a flat file for it and upload them directly to the hier object.
Hope this will helps for you
Thanks,
Arun.

Hi Arun,
I am not able to find the "insert Node" option and moreover in interval's it was allowed to give only intervals.
So i have hundreds of intervals which need to be included in the Child node. I already have created to those Intervals for one chils node. But i want to create the same set of intervals for other nodes with change in Functional Area.
I am trying to find a way so which i can easily copy the same interval to other child instead creating the Intervals manually.
I am finding difficulties in preparing hierarchy flatfile.. so i want to create the Hierarchy directly.
Kindly Give your input on this regard.
Thanks & regards,
Gowrisankar NK
Hi Arun,
Just to give an example on my requirement on Hierarchy Creation in RSA1.
I need the struture as follows.
1.Product Costs
GLACCOUNT (Restricted by following account numbers)
- ACCNO1
- ACCNO2
- ACCNO3
- ACCNO4
- ACCNO5
FUNCAREA(Restricted by following REGIONS)
- US
2. Operating Costs
GLACCOUNT (Restricted by following account numbers)
- ACCNO1
- ACCNO2
- ACCNO3
- ACCNO4
- ACCNO5
FUNCAREA(Restricted by following REGIONS)
- Non-US
.......
In the Above scenario for partiular Costs , i am using same GLACCOUNT but with different functional area. the difficulty what i am facing is restricting the GLACCOUNT with same Account Number and different functional area for each child nodes, so it takes more kind of repetitive work.
