TPM: Can we use Material Group for planning?

Hi All,

Can we do the planning/promotion for Material master attribute (Material Group 1) in TPM? If we can, please let me know how can it be done? Thanks alot for your help. Also, if you have some good material to share on TPM, please do.

Yes, it can be done.

You can do the planning based on only one of the material groups.

You have to define which material group you want to do the planning at CRM customizing - TPM --> Basic Data -->Producst --> Assign Product Groups.

And then you have to pick "product group" attribute within your fund. Relevant fund plan should have the same product group as well.

Also, condition records need to be adjusted to include product groups.
