Change pernr in internal data Infotype

I want to change pernr in infotype 32 (internal data). Can anybody tel me how to change it.

if u want to change the master data for that PERNR for Inoftype 32 Go to overview select the record and change

Hi Sikindar,

pernr is generated internally in infotype 32 when you hire an employee. Now i want to change the pernr.

for example: during hiring process pernr 1234 is generated, now i want to change it to 1246. I tried to chnage it in change mode but it cannot be chnaged.

Hi Sri,

If IT0032 PERNR is generated internally, then you will not able to change via PA30. Take some technical help if you need any chnage.

Hi, Sri -

PERNR is the unique key for an employee across all of his employee master data. The same PERNR value is used in all infotype tables for that employee. This is why you cannot change the PERNR field for a single infotype record. Doing so would associate that single record with a different employee.

If you accidentally created that infotype record for the wrong employee, you can simply delete the record and then create it for the correct employee/PERNR.

PERNR is typically used internally only, so I'm not sure I understand why you would need to give a person a specific PERNR value.

This cannot be Happen Either delete the Pernr thru PU00

and Re Hire the employee

Go to PA30, select chaange mode, change the data and save the entry.
